| Has anyone ever replaced the part that locks the shaft into place on a terrova? It is the collar on the shaft that has the notch that the adjustable depth collar fits in to? I am wondering how hard this is going to be to do with moderate mechanical abilities. The notch on mine has a pice broken out on the lower collar so it makes it more difficult to control my motor. I believe it's part 415 on the schematic called the output tube liner

Location: Hayward, WI | Do search on Youtube for installing a down image transducer on a Terrova. It will show you how to replace this collar. Not very hard to do. |

| Walleye Central has a video on how to get to the collar. |

Location: SW Ohio | It's easy... first unplug the trolling motor. Next, remove the head cover and unplug the red and black power cables and universal sonar cable (if applicable) inside the head (if you have universal sonar). After your disconnected, remove the bottom half of the head cover, slide off old collar and install new collar, then reassemble.
Nevermind... just realized you were talking about the collar on the steering housing.
