What type/brand/size marabou would you guys recommend for larger bucktails?
I'd like to build a couple and have always used flash in the past.
Thanks

I've used turkey blood quills, not sure of the make as i got most my stuff off eBay. Just do a search in eBay for Turkey marabou, lots of stuff to pick from.

Thanks to the OP and the responder, I was thinking about the same thing because the store stuff is always short. Seller on Ebay looks like the ticket.

Check out Moore's lures. I purchased a bunch 4 years ago and I built double 10, when you log on Moore's e-catalog the description says 3 inches but I measured the marabou quill and it's over 6 inches give Dick Moore a call super guy

Hand picking it is the only way I buy mine now. I've bought it just about every where on line and most of its good but when I hand pick it it's always what I want or I don't buy it.

I second Moore's Lures, I was just at Dick's house yesterday talking with him and even looked specifically at his marabou and hackle feathers. They are nice! Usually you will get some crappy feathers mixed into an order when you buy online but I just looked at some random sections of Moore's Marabou and hackle it is all nice and thick!
