In the time that I have spent here, you guys have giving me the itch to start making some lures. I want to start off with just re painting some of the old lures that I have to see if I can develop the skills needed to make these things.

What are your suggestions for a complete airbrush kit with compressor that has a decent airbrush and won't break the bank in case I am completely horrible at it. I think that if I get a harbor freight airbrush, I will blame the sorry paint jobs on the brush and won't know for sure that it's me.

Thanks

I have a airbrush from me adds and a compressor from eBay. I would highly recommend getting the one from me adds its only single action but it works great and I love it. I was so impressed I brought another. Stay away from harbor freight. I brought 2 there a professional and a bottle one and they both are terrible. The spray guns though are actually really nice though.

One the popular airbrush among bait painter are Iwata, I would get a decent airbrush right of the get go you will be better of in the long run. Check out Hobby Lobby they have a 40% coupon that is a great saving on the purchase of the air brush. Check out the Iwata Eclipse great brush, stay away from the Iwata Neon

TCP Global sells various brands of airbrushes & compressors & there prices are good.. They also have various package deals that include the air brush & compressor & some packages that include the paint & other supplies etc. They also sell on Ebay as well.
