What do you guys think of a smooth version of a 16" Bondy St Clair Grub with a molded in hook slot? Been working on this for this year...

Just thought it would pull through the weeds better. Imagine chucking this this thing into a weed line and pulling it into open water effortlessly...

I need to see what hook works best first. Ordered some 9/0 Mustads to rig them and see how the hook lays.

Location: Lincoln, NE		If those don't work, check out the 10/0 Gamakatsu Big River hooks. They're not cheap but are the sickest hook I've ever seen. Use them for really big live baits for catfish so the gap doesn't get too filled up and plenty of point still sticking out. Not sure how they'd work with the bend by the eye though.

I've been looking for something like that for years. Pull it thru very thick weeds and into openings.

Owner makes an oversized worm hook 11/0 size model #5110-211 it's over 4" long here it is next to a 5/0
