What about on a Revo Toro NACL? |

Location: Cave In Rock Illinois | Have them Both and the only difference is that the super slick is much quieter going thru the guides. I am a true believer that line noise/vibration turns fish off so the super slick or suffix 832 are what I use on my casting rods. |

Location: Detroit River | The only PP Slick 8 that I used was 20 Lb on my bass rod & I took it off after the first time because it frayed something horrible. |

Location: Madison, WI | ^^ Agree with above, I used 80lb on my Revo HS when it first came out and it frayed horribly! After only 2-3 outings it looked like it was 5 years old! Went back to regular PP and havent looked back. |

| Only used the slick trolling and agree with the reduction in noise. However I love line noise. When I`m trolling wire and that line is hummin I just know I`m getting bit! |

Location: Walker, MN | I too tried 80#slick and didn't like it nearly as well as regular Power Pro. I ditched mine after just a couple of outings. |

Location: one foot over the line | I got some 80# stuff when it first came out and had the fraying issue also. However, i remember reading somewhere that power pro had addressed the issue and all is supposed to be well. I haven't bought any recently, but it sounds like some of the guys in this thread are not having issues (perhaps the newer stuff). I wonder if the other guys that had fraying issues bought the slick, like me, when it first came out. If the fraying issue has been fixed i would buy it again in a heartbeat, i really liked the feel of that line. |

Location: NoDak | hmm, well i didnt like how it flattened out and twisted like tape would rather than rope, but slick sure did feel smooth maybe had a few more yards distance casting. |

| I tried it at the end of the season and am going back to 832 or reg PP. First off it bled like crazy(blue) and the texture felt terrible thumbing the spool on the cast, especially on cold days. I noticed 0 difference in casting distance and noise was comparable. |

| I agree with everyone else. Used 80# Slick a few years back, bought new for a trip. 4 days straight of heavy fishing and it looked like the line was a 1-2 years old (fraying that is). Kinda disappointing.
Went back to regular PP and never looked back. I could care less how "smooth" or "quiet" my line is.... what I do care about is condition it is in. Not a big fan or confidant in frayed up looking line. Just my opinion |

X2. I had the Super Slick on for part of one season and took it off due to excessive fraying. On the other hand, I know others that have had it on and love it. Personal preference. |

| I use it almost exclusively ( bought a huge spool of it) and haven't had any issues. I use it on all rods accept my pounder rod where I use 100lb cortland. |

| I haven't used the super slick for muskies, but I do have it on a few steelhead rods and I have also noticed a lot of fraying. And the line on those rods does not trake near the abuse of my musky set ups. I considered switching to it for muskies but after not being impressed with it on my other rods I will hold off. |
