Can anyone answer this question. I see many of you are suffering from this problem at the shows, even Steve Worrall needs to wear a hat.

Maybe someone should sell Rogaine to muskie fisherman.

Being wrapped too tight, a young wife and even younger son! Remember my son, it's what is INSIDE the melon that counts..:O I can remember when I couldn't get a brush through mine, especially when it was halfway down me back; I'm just glad I still got some left! SOME........

Interesting question! I have pondered on this one myself. Everyone I know who muskie fishes has hair loss. I was wondering if it was a circulation problem that is caused from gripping that rod too tight and jerking it like a mad man. It could also be a genetic trait that attracts certain ones to persue this mighty beast. I'm in the process of doing a double-blind melon study with Propecia(tm). Who knew?

Someone once told me that a muskie's slime has the same ingredients as Nair.

Yes dude, the well documented blind Melon Chittlins procedure! If 'ski slime is similar to Nair, then I should resemble a sheep dog...:(

I lose my hair because every day I realize that I am me!;-) A few boatside crashes might have helped it along too.

What about krappie, cisco kid, jlong, jason smith(who?)lol, musky treats and theedz? They are not losing their hair. Closet bass fisherman perhaps?

1. Because the amount of bugs that hit my head at night while travelling down the lake full throttle and I don't have a console windshield
2. Because of pulling out my hair for every big fish that followed that did not bite.
3. Every fish my wife catches I have to handle, then take off my hat and somehow manage to "slime" my head. (Ya know...that stuff works well as a polish now...sweat beads right off).
4. Frantically trying to wipe my new found polish off my head and rubbing too hard.
5. And lastly...it has to be that awesome 35mph speed I get on the GPS.. and taking off my hat to go "fast"

I suppose I coud try ROW-gain. (it might just grow back) (I know..I know...bad humor there...)

Steve

Todd, it appears that even primitive man has learned the use of glue, thus the reason for those you mentioned having upper natural fibers. Fishing w/ Cisco last year was like having a grandson in the same boat; guess I should have propped him up on me lap and given him a Wurthers candy!:O

Sponger, I would hardly describe you as "wound up tight." I'd say more like loose cannon.

Lol Tommer...a doc at the V.A. years ago told me that, although I am much more "sedated" now, and not from medication, at least not totally! Odd, but the wife is TOTALLY the opposite; shy, extremely quiet, very reserved etc, although unlike me, she does have a temper. I guess there are many things that stress us out; hard to put a finger on any one thing for sure.:O

I'll put in a vote for the lovers thing! Hair loss here due to "too many U turns under the sheets" Get them close, and in the heat of passion slip in the little "I'm going fishing tomorrow". When you get busted slipping out the door the next morning before light, remind them that you told them last night and they said it was ok.

Mine just fell out. One day it didn't, the next it did. Gone. Like my jump shot, which I never had, anyway.

Must say I am really sorry for your hairless problems gentlemen.

I'm not a member of this club, sporting a full crown of thick, lushes hairs with a very slight hint of grey.

My virility has never been better and I walk on water as a result

Curly, (it must be the other end then), I am really, really, really upset at my wife. She is dragging me to yet another horse show and I wanted to travel to Gander Mountain in Eau Claire this weekend and be a face in the seats during your presentation.

I am sending two locals as substitutes...

email me a [email protected] about your July Chippewa River guiding schedule openings. I am interested...

And, I can tell you somethings the Ghost Of Louie Spray told me that I didn't put in print...

Shore lunch at Rays...

Gee! I don't seem to have that problem. I'm in my early 40s and still have my hair well over shoulder length, with no bald spots or receding hair line either. I'd like to see if Pete Mania still has his as long as I do when he reaches my age.LOL!
