Cave Run is still handing them out. Since Sunday Crash and I have had 12 in our boat. Actually since yesterday it was tough. Today I was guiding and we got 2 31" and 33". These fish arent't big by no means but it's a fish. Most of my fish are coming on Sledges, Crash's are coming on Rattle Traps. Monday I did have one leap frog a sledge that fish was 20-25lbs class fish. The biggest fish we have this week is a 40"er Crash's client caught. All these fish are still shallow. Today it was almost 60 degrees, tommorrow it's going to be 68 degrees, and Friday it's going to be pretty hot too. We need this warm the last couple of days it's been cool and the water temp has fell some. Right now the water temp is 56-60 this makes three or four times it's been that in last 3 weeks. This weekend should be good fishing just keep fishing shallow and fish the same spots. Eric good work on that 48"er in leatherwood thanks for the report! I will be posting the picture of the 48 we got a couple of weeks ago soon. If you are coming this way be sure to stop in and get coffee. We got some Lakewood Tackle Boxes, and St. Croix Rods in. Good Luck where ever you go this weekend!!!

Dude, look for Mikie, Raze and Mauser starting tomorrow on the water; I'm pretty sure they're fishing this week/weekend. Wish I could get up that way, but no doubt the fish would disappear!:O

Fished the Cave from 4/21 for 3 days or so with Tim Mottes. Cold weather came in along with atleast some musky just finishing the spawn. Water temps were 58 in morning to 62 in afternoon. Weeds aren't up yet due to high water early in the spring. Fished hard and only got one small fish, 30". Spoke with Crash and Tony and they weren't getting much action either. I'm sure with the warming weather things will pick up, especially now that we've left.

I know I'm late on a report this week, but I've been fishing everyday and hadn't had time to do one. I don't think I've ever seen so many fish not to 20 in the boat. They seem to swirve at the bait, sworal at the bait, flip it off, you name it they have done it to me. I think I have caught every 32"er in Cave Run this year. All the big fish just seem to laugh at me. (Hell everybody does that)!!! I have been fishing primarly weeds. They have really boosted in last 2 weeks. Seems like just about all the spots have some weeds started. I have fished some timber and moved a few fish, but not like the weeds. Crash seems to be the only one out of us that can move the fish in the timber. Yesterday he lost a nice fish mid 40's class, and Gina his wife lost one in the upper 30's. All of these in timber. Yesterday my clients got a 32" and 37" in Buckcreek. I hope this helps sorry I'm late. If I hadn't had a no show today I wouldn't have had this on now. By the way all these fish that I'm seeing and catching are on Burts. Tony and his guys are fishing 10" Mantas so really I don't think it matters. Fish hard and good luck.

This is not a report. I will have a report on Thursday. This is just about the last two days. Yesterday 5-5-3 I saw 14 fish caught 4 lost two right at the boat. We got these four fish in an hour. Yesterday was so messed up with all these fronts in and out. I pulled out twice and sit in the truck because of lighting. We didn't get nothing big although I did see a pretty nice fish. The fish are 38,36,36,32. Today I only seen 5 but caught 2 of them a 39,36. Today they just wasn't going like yesterday. I have a report on Thursday. I thought this might help someone now if they are coming this way this week. I split my day I go back out. Talk to you Thursday.

I said I would have a report on Thursday but I won't be here to do it. I already told everybody about Monday and Tuesday. Today I was out got a fish but damn it wasn't as easy as the last couple of days. Seems like every 10 minutes there's another front coming through. Early this morning we had alot of thundering and lighting I think it might have drove these fish in a hole. Now the lake is on the rise. Don't worry it's not that much. Right now we are about a 18 inches above summer pool. The water is still pretty clear. I couldn't believe it when I got out this morning. The water temps are 63-66. I said before that the storms this morning might have drove them in, but it might be where the water is raising the fish are roaming to the real shallow side. This is not much of a report, but that's about all I have to say. Just remember fish the weeds they are coming on strong. LOADED WITH FISH!!!! Stop by on your way down. C-ya
