| OK - bought one at the show.
Now what?
Probably should have asked this earlier. What are the capabilities of this rod? Will it handle DC10's, and regular size 'dawgs and 'd's ?
Maybe step up to the next size - Mag 'dawgs, etc.
What can I expect from this rod. One piece, full grip if that matters.

| Ya what you said. Great pole, pretty much everything but pounders. Good purchase. |

Location: Wisconsin | Great rod. I have a Tranx PG on mine. Use it for 9', 10's, and up mag dawgs. I've used it with smaller/lighter bait too, but I have other rod/reel combos for that. I personally like a slightly softer rod that will load up more for lighter baits. But if I were looking for one "do it all" rod, this would be the one I'd choose. Tom |

Location: Hayward, WI | It's the rod I use the most. Anything from small single 8 bucktails to double 10's for bucktails, and it handles up to Mag Dawgs very well. I've thrown baits heavier than Mag Dawgs, but much more than 8 ounces gets a little heavy for the rod.
Very versatile for 2-8 oz baits. I think you'll like it. |

Location: Sauk City WI | I use mine for pretty much everything from double 8s and bigger. And up to mag dawgs. Works great my only issue would be I think the rod tip loads up a little too much with double tens. I've had a saltist 20 on it for 3 years or so and it's worked great |

Location: Chisholm, MN | I like it for big blades when I'm slow rolling, but prefer the xxh for buring. Great rod. I throw 8s and top waters with it a lot too. |

Location: Waukee, IA | I love the 9' XH for 10's, standard/mag dawgs, crankbaits, swimbaits and big jerkbaits. It won't throw pounders and it won't load on lures under 2 ounces so it's not perfect, but darn close. |

| Great rod! I use it for everything up to mag sized rubber. I do prefer the XXH better, it seems to load up and launch smaller baits better and handles anything to dare to throw. |
