How did you do out on the muskie waters of the world last weekend? I know a few people hit the water; reports?

Went to the fox chain, fished from 8am to 2pm, no fish no follows. Water temp was 43 when we launched, got near 48 after noon. Only a few muskie fisherman, those we spoke to had nothing to report. We did see a guy catch a walleye. Hope it warms up for the FRV tourney!

Day was nice but no fish. We went to Tippy. Decided to try our hand at using OR boards and Dipsy's. New experience for us. We think we were doing it sorta right. It sure looked impressive to us anyway! We really checked out the flats on James and Tipp but didn't see a thing. 47degree surface water in the a.m. and 53 by 1 o'clock. Marked lots of fish suspended over 25' +. Get shallower and they vanished. We had 4 rods in all day running a jointed Rapala (silver), 6" Jake (sucker colored), BullDawg (orange/black), A Frenzy (walleye), I jigged a Fin-S 10" midnight shinner when we were marking lots of fish, we threw hair too. Boat was a joy to be in. My buddy owns a new Tracker Targa 17 and he was really enjoying my 19' Magna. Loved all the flat surfaces and the 8 1/2' rod locker too. We had a nice time and the weather was beautiful. Great learning experience. Thanks to all who are helping me learn about this thing called "Trolling". Catch ya' later.
