Has anyone tried the reintroduced Striker by Dick Gries? I have used a few of the old one wooden ones (but they were three hook models, about 8" long) which floated that worked pretty well for me. Does anyone know if these sink/float? What kind of flash do they have on the pull? Any info. would be appreciated. Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

Yes Russ purchase the Dick Gries bait line from Bruce Schwengel who bought the company in the 90s (I believe) from Dick.

Thanks for the info. - I didn't realize the Striker was being made in two sizes, what sizes are these? Also, I'm not confusing the Mercer Creek with the new Striker so just trying to find out if someone has actually purchased one and tried it?

Mercer Creek jerks are heavier and I believe they will sink. Strikers will float. i wwill see Smitty at the MadFishEXPO next weekend and will ask.
