With a couple swap meets already over I was just wondering if anyone else reaped the rewards of the swaps. I came home with 8 baits. 5 were new without a mark on them and 3 had some teeth marks in them.

Approximately $110 saved after figuring out what the new price was and what I spent by buying used baits. All the baits I brought were baits I needed and was going to buy anyway.

Got to love the swap meets. Every year I score needed bait that others don't use or need to downsize.

What did you score or sell at the last swap in Milwaukee or Chicago?

have to agree Mike that I also end up picking baits up that others feel don't work anymore. I picked up a dozen overheads for just over $30

I got to agree with you Mike as in past years I was able to put confidence baits in the box for half the price. Isn't that whats it's all about, buying the things that work for you. I like to throw the suick and the new one's are getting expensive. Last year I picked up 3 of them in the box for 20 bucks. The added plus is when you see a guy llike Spencer there selling baits, how good that? Thats where the average guy has an advantage cause most of you guides are willing to answer all questions. Hey I'll keep going and keep buying as long as they continue to have them.

The first swap meet where I did not buy anything. Was well worth it, got to hang out with some friends, make some new ones and had a great time.

I sold more than enough stuff to pay for what I bought at the show. Also I picked up a $35 bait for $20-not a mark on it. Let's hope it produces. Can't wait for soft water to try it out. My son was able to pick up some good (new) baits for pennies on the dollar.

I didnt sell anything this year...and pretty much just gave stuff away last year at the Chicago swap. BUT, 2 years ago I scored an old-school cisco kid for $5 that has now put 7 muskies in the boat for me. If each of my baits had that kind of muskies/dollar value...

came out to the swap meet this year finally, had a good time except for getting rear ended right outside the hotel by a wimpy kid in a hurry to get to his valentines date. Picked up a two big games in great shape for a great price.
