Location: Glen Ellyn Il | I am responding to a post Weevel made for bucktail tools
Here is a Jig that I made for my buck tails wiring, eliminated the use of vise grips and the jig is slim enough that you can make the final loop in the wire and makes perfect wraps
material tools you need
Drill press
one 10-32 tap and drill
one 10-32 s/s bolt about 1 inch long
a piece of steel stock 1/4 x 1.5 x 4 inches
cut the slot so the .051 wire fits in the slot ( use a hacksaw finish up with Dremel tool)
Drill and tap the 10-32 screw hole
notch the 10-32 bolt at the very end see drawing, cut the head

Location: Glen Ellyn Il | I made another one today for .062 wire and I tried without threading the hole. I drilled a 1/8 hole and used a 1/8 steel pin, it works just fine, no threading needed. a all lot easier

| Bravo,Gino !!!

| Nice work, good to see some classic drafting skills. Not many of us trained in that anymore. |
