I saw a pic of some guy that caught one on a small Rapala trolling for walleyes a while back. I fish it a lot and have found that there are fish scattered through out the system. Key word here is scattered by the way - - - -

Thanks. Staying at a resort on pike bay the first week of august just trying to figure out if im going to spend any time trying the bay. All you read about is east vs west. I literally didn't find one morsel of info on musky in pike bay.

Pike bay is decent for muskies.
Early season is a good time for Pike bay.
The muskies in there are very pale, almost white.

I've a few a few nice pike but no musky. But then I've only fish It a few times
I've done Better in big bay Basin more reefs and small islands to hit so I normally don't get into pike Bay.

I have found it okay very early in the season - Opener until July 4rth. Other parts of the eastern-side are probably better but if you are staying there it is always worth some time checking it out.

I used to fish Walleye Opener in Pike Bay for about 6-7 years... from Hoo Doo Point out to Whiskey Island.
There were so many other boats (most trolling small Rapala's) that you could probably walk form boat to boat out to Whiskey Island.
Every year I saw Muskies being boated on Walleye Opener.
They are in there early on in the season.
