Looking at a Lexa 400 for a specific application. It will go on a Heavy action rod throwing mostly smaller prop baits and small bucktails. The largest bucktail would be a Showgirl size....MAYBE a junior (8's) every so often
Would you guys prefer the H which would have a touch more power....or get the HS

If you're just going to throw smaller topwaters and blades, I would get the 300 Lexa H instead of the 400.
+1 on this. If you're looking at throwing a lot of stuff under 1oz I'd go 300. The 400H will handle mag8's very well. Which end of the spectrum will you spend most of your time on?

The only reason why I would not do the 300 is because the spool really gets thin or empty at the end of a long cast. I want better line pick up right away.

I would go with the HS in the 400. The 400 has dual anti-reverse were as the 300 doesn't. Being able to burn those bucktails in at warp speed will oput more muskies in your net.
