Location: Wisconsin | Can anyone chime in on how the 8'6'' XH is? It looks comparable to the premier in the Xh but I would like to see one prior to ordering one. I know R+H sells them online and Jon's Sport shop in Oshkosh carries them from time to time but that is all that I know of. I was thinking about contacting them direct but I have not been able to find any sort of contact info. Would use it for mag dawgs and hardheads and a pounder from time to time. |

It'll work great for those lures, mine have been excellent. The new lineup for 2015 features some great power/action combinations in a lighter overall rod. Very nice.
I assume Rollie & Helen's will have them along at the Milwaukee Muskie Expo. Jon's should have some in Oshkosh, and R & M in Eagle River is carrying them in stock as well.
You can message Jason St. Mary "saint1" here on MuskieFirst with any questions. I'll message you his phone number as well.

Location: Wisconsin | Stopped at Jon's and picked up an 8'6" XH. Seems like a really nice rod for the price too! Handle length is great plus throw in the great price and it was an easy decision. Thanks for the replies. |

Location: Neenah, WI | Glad you stopped their to get one , the new one you picked up has the 2015 changes both 8'6" models have 16" butt sections so you get more leverage when casting. Glad you liked it.

Location: Wisconsin | After a few friends see the rod it's a pretty safe bet Jon's will need to stock up on 8'6" XH's! |
