Wow, did you guys see the new format at MuskieCentral? Its probaby an improvement (more similar to this board now) but holy cow do I feel lost using it.

I feel much more comfortable here. How about you guys?

I have to agree with you on this one. The simpler and more user friendly the better. They are trying to just do to much.

i know- i thought exactly the same thing when i saw that- definitely don't like their new format- too confusing... maybe everyone will just start using this board instead...

I agree, too much clutter on the screen at once. Simpler is better. Plus, here you can make the window size nice and small to hide in the corner of you screen. Camo gray is pretty cool. I didn''t even check, can you do this there?

it is definitely not as user friendly... will take me a long while to get used to all the bells and whistles... i think they are making it too complex- should be simple and to the point- we're muskie fisherman dammit! []

I liked it, loaded faster than before, and I thought it was easy to use.

I’m getting familiar now, it’s gonna stay in the favorites.

You're not kidding! Maybe it will be better than the old one, BUT was there anything really wrong with the old one. I never did like "change for the sake of change"!

Seems to me like regression not progression.

Like many of you, it took me a while to find my way around. I think it will be fine once we become familiar with the new format. However, it will not accept my hotmail e-mail address!!!!!!????????? Why? Does anyone know? I dont want to change just for that board.

jlong,I have to agree with you too...I don't care for the new message board, too much contrast on the screen, and I had to change me usual board name.Who knows how it will turn out,for now it looks as if we are stuck with it.good Luck,Paul

I could care less what you say about Muskie Central on here, just keep it clean. Scott and I are good friends, and he is always trying to improve what he has, just as we are.

If there is a good post or anything else to check out over at MC, by all means post it up here. We are not trying to pretend that no other sites exist on this subject. The idea behind this site is to help you find what you need.

By the way, you can do all that stuff here too.

Forgive the intrusion, 55, but which one of the subjects in the picture is the Muskie? []

The above pic is a prime example of why you should turn on your flash (on point and shoot cameras) or use other forms of fill-in flash at all times when on the water.'Specially at low sun angles late or early in the day.[:sun:]

Most built in camera meters are fooled by the light/bright background and shorten the exposure causing fish and man to print dark.Note how the water and sky are perfectly exposed and how dark the fish and Zach are.[8)]

Yes you can plug in over or under exposure - at least once you've developed an 'eye' for how much and which way. The simpler way is to turn on the flash. People and fish will print much better more often.[]

Zach is ACTUALLY a very good muskie stick, just is out of shape from pulling spinners all Summer. Same as YOU Scott.
