Looking at fishing the National Championship Musky Open this year. Anybody have any recommendations as to where to rent a room preferably on the eagle river chain seeing that is the body we are looking to fish? Possibly only me and the person I will be fishing with so not looking for anything big or fancy just warm and dry.

Chanticleer is really nice. I think it is on the river between Eagle and Voyageur.

There are some smaller hotel/motel types on the main drag (Highway 45) on the river with piers.

Lots of lodging. If you try a google search you should get a lot of results.

i'll second the Chanticleer ... lots of options there and good location. great place to eat and relax when you are done too and run by good people. hotel rooms, condos and cabins all available there and lots of room for boat/trailer rigs close to a good landing.
