| Weagle. But make sure you resharpen the hooks if you get it from Thick Shady. |

| HR Top Prey.
Rides a little lower in the water. More hook ups with less blow ups.

| I have two of the Viper's (before Odessy bought em) and they work great. Advantage to these is that with the weight system you can get em to run deeper too.

Location: Presque Isle Wisconsin | All good answers above for you;but why are you looking for the easist one to work instead of the most effective one for the type of water you fish? Every body of water has its own peculiarities and certain lures will be favored over other similar types.Try a variety of surface lures before becoming addicted to one because they work for someone else on their lakes. Some people can work a Jackpot or Top prey and some just never get it right(im that way with suicks ). If you like those lures and find them effective on your lakes remember to T the hooks and shrink rap the rear treble shank for better hook ups.
one of the perverse and cruel rules of musky fishing is that the harder it is to work the lure, the more the damn thing fouls up, the more it makes your wrists feel like they have run over by a bus, then the more muskies it attracts |

Need to beef up the hardware, and use lighter equipment though. Good for action(smaller fish) waters. |

Location: Shoreview, MN | The Jackpot is my #1 confidence bait - when I can't move a fish any other way a Jackpot will. Unfortunately I'm also quite cinfident that the fish will usually miss it! (but all topwaters are like that to some extent - at least you know where they are)

Oddesy VIPER it walks the dog as well as the Mania DOC.
In addition you can use to the change a weight system to make the bait in to a walk the dog glide bait. |
