On an average, how long does post-frontal conditions last and how do you deal with them on the 2nd and 3rd day after the passing of a front?[:knockout:]

Assuming the front has passed:

Depends on the system fished. If I can, I prefer to fish moving water post cold front, or fish spotted muskies. For some reason, the Great Lakes Muskie seems to like the post cold front afternoon and evenings.

If I am on Pelican, or a similar system, I go to jigs or medium crankbaits after the high pressure system enters, and stay with them until the back side of the high shows up and the wind goes to the SW from the north or NW.

As soon as the clouds and winds show the back side of the high, I go to a faster presentation, including topwater and hair, and baits like the Undertaker or Squirko.[:sun:]

Big fronts like were having right now provide some of the best numbers fishing you can find. A 6" Jake weighted to be nuetral buoyant has produced many multiple fish days during and after major cold fronts for me. A reaper rigged on a swimmer head also works great.
