6" or 7.5" which do you prefer and why?

6" softail for me. In my opinion I just don't think the bigger jerk baits have the same quick action, subtle wobble on the drop, and hook up as well...too many missed fish on the 7.5".

**edit** pike do love em! good thing I love pike! 24-28" = filleted! battered! and deep fried!

AGREED! I have and use both pretty consistently. I get more follows and strikes on the 6" ones opposed to the 7.5. That being said I do have one 7.5" phantom that has "IT". so I do use that one a lot. The only down fall (at least imho) with the 6"ers is that the pike love them... and i mean LOVE THEM. you will catch tons of pike one the 6"ers
