Why don't I see craft fur bucktails? I'm new to Muskie fishing,I don't get why I see everything from skunk and squirrel to flashboo and silicone but not craft fur.

I use it for fly tying stuffs in another related hobby. I've yet to find it longer than maybe 1 1/4"-1 1/2" on a fabric matting and that's the "premium" stuff.

When you pick out the shorter, thick stuff near the fabric you don't end up with much! For fly tying that's good for us, not so much!

Edit: If you go to this link under "synthetic hair" the Congo Hair is what I use for flies for "teeth". Also some other good stuff in the link...HTH.
