| I'm in!!! Especially for the lunch part, shoot, I might even eat...sounds like a good idea for sure. I don't care about winning anything, but the idea of driving a wide variety of different peeps nuts sounds too good to be true! We could also hold a Pay Day Hunt in the woods, as well as torpedo a few Coke colas. Keep this thing fresh, as Worrall will be letting us know soon when the dates are for next year, and we can adapt according to the ever changing weather possibilities... |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I had a rough time getting Crash off the water ( like I was in a terrible hurry), but when I did get there a few minutes late, there were only a couple anglers in yet; I wasn't the only one late, I guess. The meetings will be scheduled later next year, for sure to allow for more time to get the boat loaded and drive back to the Hotel. ( You missed it by not staying, I bought carry in pizza and Pop, and a few beers that night for those who were too tired to make the drive to Tony's. We did the boat team up for 'landed' anglers on the outings board, and do that for every event. That will continue. The scoring for the event will remain as is, fish caught by those who catch them. K.I.S. principle. This isn't a huge deal as far as the contest goes, it is more of an opportunity for everyone to get together, fish, eat, talk, and take home a load of new stuff for as little money as possible. Switching anglers is a good idea, but will have to be voluntary. Some folks are there to fish the weekend with a particular partner, and won't be all that interested. Maybe we could do a Calcutta type event with the switch, only those who want to be in on it play; would that work, FSF? Any other ideas? I am for anything that makes the outing more fun. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Wow, hard to improve on an outing like this year, but I'm glad folks are thinking. It can only get bigger and better. Love my new baits!
FSF, sorry you got stood up for the Challunge. Let's get on the water sometime soon. I think Mauser and I are looking to visit the Cave again the first weekend in May, let me know if you want in with us, be great to have you. If you need a net man for next year, I'll make myself available. m |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | The meeting and lunch thing should be optional. I really don't like to take a break, sit down eat lunch, etc.... I would much rather be on the water fishing. What if a person is moving some good fish and it is noon. That person shouldn't have to leave that spot just to go hang out.
And partners should be made BEFORE you go down. You always stand a chance of not finding a spot in a boat. Everybody should know exactally who and when they are fishing with certain people.

Location: Kentucky | Great ideas FSF. There are 5 of us here in Louisville that love to muskie fish on the cave (and even have a few very secret, secret spots). I'm sure that one of us would be able to help someone that is looking for a fishing partner!! Keep us in mind for the future. My email is [email protected] |

Location: Angola, IN | I think if we keep the lodging at the Comfort Inn and Tony's....the boys at Tony's should spot the guys up North at least 10-15 fish!!
If things are to be improved....the distance from Tony's to the Comfort Inn sucks. It's a 30 minute ride. Plus, being intoxicated on those curvey/hilly roads is not super safe. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | I agree with both Hulberts; lunch on the boat is fine for me, why wait for someone to cook? The elder Hulbert raises a good point, the disComfort Inn needs a shuttle bus to get us to and from their meeting room and Tony's! |

| If you don't have anybody to fish with you for the outing next year, do what sponge did. He called us to see if we had any boats that wasn't guiding, and got in with them. You might have to pick up some gas for them, but that beats the heck out fishing by yourself or not at all. Tony has some guide boats, I'm sure if they aren't out he will do the samething. All these ideas seem to be pretty good. I'm glad everyone had a good time, and wants to come back next year. You guys sure was a bunch of fun. Hope to see you next year. Steve hope you have a good year fishing, and everybody else also. C-YA |

Location: Huber Heights, Ohio | I also think the on water meetings should be optional and boat partners need to be set before the fishing begins.
I enjoy staying at Tony's and would prefer to stay there and have no problem in driving the 20 minutes it takes to get to the "Discomfort Inn". I would like to see the number of people who stayed at Tony's to remain the same, as in eliminated some of the parking problems that we had last year. The driving intoxicated statement was a stupid one as there should be no problem finding a designated driver. I for one do not drink and would be more than happy to be a designated driver. |

| 1st6', some good ideas for sure! If peeps want to stay in 1 spot and hang there at night until the last night, let them do so; same goes w/ lunch, boat switching, etc. There hasn't been any probs. the past 2 years w/ peeps finding a boat to fish out of, so those who want to freelance, let it happen dude! There are many who are flexible when it comes to these things, and you can line stuff up when Worrall gives us the dates for next year, and we got plenty of time. No doubt there will be a bunch more peeps at the Discomfort next year, so there will be plenty of extra folks to plan stuff w/. I learned a long time ago how to have fun even if I don't catch a fish, and I want to stay that way. Let me know AHEAD OF TIME this next trip, and we'll spend the day stuffing Doug w/ Pay Days/hot sauce/jerky etc...
***Justin, tell Charlie thanks again! We laughed our backsides off, ate some daggone good poagy bait and left the door open w/ a cup of coffee and a sausage biscuit on the dash for Santa Claus...:O

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | FSF, Actually, I am going to look at doing some of the things you suggested, as a voluntary deal for everyone attending. Tony, Crash, Justin, Tourism, and many of the guides will be interested in the event again, I am sure. We will improve on it. :) |

Location: Angola, IN | Hey David_4
I just think the drive to and from the Comfort Inn every night is a pain in the butt. I don't think anyone was intoxicated....sorry if it came off as people were getting drunk and driving around the park.
I don't drink either. I offered to be a designated driver too. I just wish the Comfort Inn was closer to Tony's.
Peace out,
Steve Hulbert |

| It is a long ride Steve...would cut 15 minutes off the ride if traveling by boat...does anyone else see the potential for a high speed aquatic ferry system, the potential for fame, fortune, and gratitude of those separated from their loved ones by curvacious roadways...I don't drink either, yet still seem to drive as though I do... |
