Location: Utah | Thanks for the kind words fellers. Yep Larry us two ole gals are working it out here in Utah and totally enjoying it. Taught ourselves a whole lot by being students and researching and of course lots of hours and long hours on the water employing various techniques and tactics. Thinking we got trolling down to pretty much a science with speed, line out and lure depth including color selection...Really glad Utah DWR has done what they have with this program and will continue to only make it better. Again thanks for the kind words and hope to be making some more videos during the upcoming 2015 season. |

Well I wish I could answer your questions. The best I can say is that I'm sure pures would work. We do have Pike in a few bodies of water and in one body of water the DWR believes they are way overpopulated with Pike. That being Yuba reservoir. The UDWR decided I believe to introduce the Tigers as primarily a management tool for panfish including becoming a great sportfish to help establish a blue ribbon fishery. Because Tiger don't reproduce there was no worry about the body of waters becoming over populated with Tigers. I believe the main reasons for Tigers are 1) management tool for panfish populations 2) Tigers don't reproduce so they can control them via stocking. Just from my prespective I'm sure PointerPride and also Sorno could provide more info if they cared to respond. |
