Looking at the US and Canada app, I can find two options in iTunes. One HD and one not HD. Both descriptions are identical. The price, is not. One is $14.99 the other $54.99.

Are they any different? And is the HD version $40 worth $40 more?

I have the standard, and from what i understand the hd is clearer. Is it worth another 40? That's for you to decide, personally the standard gets the job done for me.

Does this only work with cellular iPad ? My iPad is the cheaper WiFi only model.

I believe it uses GPS to show where you are, so as long as you just want to see the maps you should be golden. I have it for my iPhone and do tons of scouting in northern MN. My buddy has it for his iPad and has put off his fish finder for two years. I find the GPS is off by a little bit, but its a great tool
