| Hey all, i have the power drive v2 and i am seriously considering getting the i pilot link for it. i know you lose the foot pedal, but, does having it linked with your hummingbird make it not even necessary to have a foot pedal? just wondering if any of you have it on your power drive and how you like it or don't like it. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I really like being able to use the footpedal along with the I Pilot on my Terrova. I always have a free foot to steer, but my hands are normally busy fishing...

| I-pilot link is most certainly available for the the power drive v2, the remote will do everything the foot pedal could do, you just lose the ability to cast/retrieve while making adjustments, but if you're following contours or a track that shouldn't be a problem |

| The foot pedal is important to me even though I have the remote. Remote battery can die. Foot pedal plugged in responds faster than waking up the remote and taking action. It's nice to not fumble for the remote. I do use the remote a lot. But I use the foot pedal a lot too. One extra tool to have I suppose. |

Location: MN | I asked the same question on here last year and was encouraged to buy the Terrova which I did. After using it for a year I would say you definitely want the foot pedal if you musky fish. There are tons of times when you use the foot pedal to adjust mid-cast. I didn't use my remote too often last season.
I suppose if you knew you would always be following a contour line or a track you could get by without it but that would not be ideal on most pieces of water. |

Location: NoDak | I need a pedal with I link. When the wind is blowing for one but sometimes the weed edges are not on a contour line or once in a great while the contours are bogus on reservoirs but I absolutely love I link on my terrova |
