Was looking at the same two when I decided on the big game. Just seemed to be built better. I am really pleased with my choice, and have no trouble handling solo, as I fish alone mostly as well. I have nothing bad to say of the conservation series, as the super light weight is sweet. I did hear some rumblings from others that they don't seem to hold up well.

I had to make same decision last year when I bought a new net. I went ahead and got the big game net after looking at the two side by side. Yes the big game weighs more and doesn't move through the water as fast, but I haven't had any problems using it by myself when I need it. Just keep the handle extended once you start fishing and you'll be good to go.

8425 - it's not any more difficult to handle solo, as noted, and you'll like the 8425 much better than the 9530 with a fish in the net.
