What rods(Power and Length) do you folks use for your lighter weight Jerk baits. So those lures that are 3oz and less? Of which it seems a good number of jerk baits are.

Thanks in Advance

After using a lot of different setups I keep going back to a 7'6" XH rod. My favorite is "The Jerk" from st. Croix. it is the most used rod in the boat.

I second Paramuskyhunter!
I use a lot of jerks/glides, and have used a bunch of different rods from 6'9" to 8' in all different powers (MH to XH) and the "Jerk" seems to be able to do it all really well, from baby phantoms up to 10" Suicks and Hang10-Mantas.

The XH strenghth makes the rod feel really responsive with each tap, and the extended palming handle makes the rod a complete joy for guys like me who palm their reels.
