you need enough ballast to make it sink. I put ballast in each segment . the baits are made from PVC which is very buoyant so a lot of ballast is needed.

different paint brushes depending on the color I want. Walmart sells a brush that has fibers that are a cream that work if you want to color the fibers. I also use Purdy brushes for a dark fin ( like the walleye) I use different color sharpies to color the fins.
