Anyone come across this? People selling "fluorocarbon" that's really just mono?

I am about to purchase some of this. I assume as long as I go to Thorne or Cabelas for it, I should not have any issue with it being / not being Fluro. So just don't buy online I guess????

I hope People realize before to many mistakes are made

I don't see a reason to be concerned if you buy from a reputable company, not some shady website.

I've heard of scumbag people buying both flouro and mono at retail stores, switching the line on the spools, and returning the "fluoro" for a refund. Buyer beware!

You can actually tell the difference between the two...Mono has more shine to it and flouro is more dull which is why its less reflective to light....also, flouro is much stiffer and less pliable. However, with this kind of crap happening, I would purchase from a reputable dealer or retailer.
