Posts: 6 | Hey guys! I'm new to this forum and I'm wondering what you guys think of my first setup. Toro Winch NaCl 5.4:1 SC Premier 8'6" I don't know which power to be honest. I'll be tossing big cranks for the most part.

Posts: 4266 | You will like that rod for throwing and retrieving big cranks. I use a Sling Blade for my big, deep diving cranks, and I love it, especially when it comes time to figure 8 them or to set the hook. Welcome to the jungle. Beaver

Posts: 730 | Wow, have times changed! I started with a 5'06" fiberglass St. Croix with a tip size of your little finger, a red Ambassaduer 5500 with a "high speed" 4.7 to 1 gear ratio, and Cortland Musky Master 27lb. Dacron. Kdawg
