Posts: 337 Location: Watersmeet, Michigan | My friend Dr. Fritz Hoenke and I spent Wednesday on Green Bay with Brett Alexander. We only boated these two 'skies. Don't know whether it's deformities from the PCBs and junk from the Fox River, or some sort of genetic mutation, but these are the strangest muskies I've ever seen! Location: Green Bay, WI | This brings back memories, as I caught one of those on a 10" Jake once while trolling with my uncle on Green Bay. I gave him the first fish...he lost a really nice musky. I got the second...catfish. He got the third...53-54" FATTY. Always a bridesmaid. TB

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | They are fun and not shy about eating an artificial lure. We target them with crankbaits on the cooling lakes down here and believe it or not the preferred method for blues on LaSalle is trolling rattle traps. Channels bulldawg on you while blues fight like stripers. You get channel cats on lsc as well.

Posts: 394 Location: WI | Buckner: I can relate. Caught a 40" Flathead trolling an Ernie. I was sure I'd joined the 50" club. My son still laughs about the look of disappointment on my face as he slid the Frabill under a big stinking catfish.

I was the same when that big Brown head popped up at my feet going into the net.
