| I have an 80lb Terrova w/ the I-pilot. Recently when using the I-pilot remote it will speed up on it's own. This happens without the Cruise Control being on. Has anyone else had this happen? |

Location: NoDak | only thing i can think of is the foot pedal was set higher and you bumped the momentary button or used the constant button

| A few times when it happened, I was in the back of the boat fishing by myself. I will have to investigate a little more this weekend. Thanks for the reply though. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Might try unplggng the footpedal and see if it still happens. That would help narrow it down. |

| Are you sure you aren't bumping any buttons on the remote. I clip the remote to one of my belt loops and i have bumped buttons while landing fish, changing baits, or wrestling with a snag. Just a thought! |

| I'd try replacing the battery(ies) in the remote first. |
