| I use Frabil's. Have 2 sizes. The biggest they make for fishing with people in the boat to help land and a smaller one for when fishing solo. |

Location: Northern IL | I've used the same Beckmen for almost 20 years now and netted thousands of fish. The bag has been recoated and or replaced a number of times. The hoop has also been repaired a time or two but it has been a very good investment. |

| I have a smaller bass boat and use the Frabill Power stow. Folds up and can be put completely away when not in use and although a 47" fish is the biggest Ive had in the net so far, the net could easily handle much bigger fish. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I've had a Frabil Big Game Powercatch (one size smaller than the Big Kahuna) and have been very happy with it for probably 7 or 8 years now. Shows practically no wear.
It's a little heavy, but I don't notice that when a musky's on, even when alone. The heavy netting is very tangle free. Hooks almost never get caught up in it and it seems pretty fish friendly.
I 2nd making sure you get the one with the thick, heavy netting. |

| Bought a Frabil Power Catch a few weeks ago and it looks like it will last a long time. Only thing is, I haven't hooked a fish since. Almost ready to put the old Ranger net in the boat for some good mojo. |

The netting does not hold up well to fish that thrash in the net with baits in their mouths. 2 of my friends have purchased these nets and had to replace the bags after short periods of time. Brad's net bag was damaged after 3 fish, Matt's after 5... |

| Beckman is actually off the market for a couple of years until they decide if they can make any changes and be able to sell more of them. Bad decision as they've left a hole that Drifter has already jumped on. This winter Drifter is coming out with thier version of the Fin Saver. Right now Drifter has their Predator Nets and I've been happy with them. The XXL is the size of a Frabill Big Kahuna but it weighs way, way less and I can actually net a fish by myself. The Big Kahuna is a great net and the first truly huge net but, as everyone has said, it does weight a lot and you can't easily net a fish by yourselft and it is very hard for most kids and women to handle. With either Frabill or Drifter you will be buying a quality product. Just find the one that you like the best.
