Watch this post for all daily updates from the PMTT!

35 teams headed out from the Sports Dock Bar and Grill this morning on Pewaukee lake. Word from most of the teams is it should be a good bite, lots of fish were seen and caught during the pre fishing over the last few days. Weather for today looks like cloudy skies and light winds from the south to south west up to 10 mph and a chance of rain in the afternoon. We will be placing updates to this post as we receive them from the PMTT. The day One afternoon meeting will be held at the Sandbar Sports Pub.

From The Water Reports on Day One

1) From the water report as of 10:15 am is 6 to 7 fish registered no big ones but the action seems to be good.

2) Action is picking up with reports of at least two doubles as of 10:45!

3) Reports are coming in of at least 2 teams that have already tripled and the bite continues to be hot!

4) Looks like a possibility of some rain and thunderstorms moving into the area around 1:30 this afternoon.

5) Report as of 2:20 from the water is multiple doubles and triples, definitely a window opened up, muskies gone wild!

6) Light rain started around 2:30, could be a good end to day one!

7) Heading down to stretch the last hour clouds are moving out and it's clear blue bird skies, should be an interesting wrap to a very exciting day!

Interesting rod stowage techniques. Must not be going far!

I like the shot of the dawg, his line is hooked behind the barb of the front hook- recipe for disaster if thet barb has nicked the braid......

^^^ I was thinking the same thing.

As for the "rod storage," I would guess that was just for the boat inspection before takeoff.

Guys, It's the Takeoff inspection....Rods have to be out of the way in order to open the compartments.... Good Luck to all.

A total of 16 muskies were registered on day one.

Top 5 standings

1st) Ty Sennet and Jason Hammernick with four fish, 30.5",35.5",35.5",and a 37.5"

2nd) Robert Strand and Ethan Rogers with two fish, 33.5" and a 37"

3rd) Chuck Smida and Brian Clepper with the biggest fish of the day a 45"

4th) Ross Korpela and John Adkins with two fish a 31.5",and a 30.5"

5th) Ryan Carlisle and Steve Genson with a 36.25"
