How has the recent cooler weather affected your fishing? Better or Worse?

Personally, it stayed pretty much the same for me, very inconsistent....

The rare times I've been lucky enough to see rising/stable water in the early fall coupled with steady cooling, it has accounted for some of the most consistent fishing of the season. This year is one of them.

Good to hear. I usually have the best fishing of the season during the last part of August and Early September(especially in the metro area) as the water temps slowly decline. This year has been tough for me, but water temps have dropped very fast this year.

just got back from LOTW , cold front killed the fishing . very few follows and only 2 muskies for the week. 20mph+ winds for 3 days running from the north and 3 foot whitecaps made it a tough week.

with the PMTT chamionship and Hodag Challenge this weekend, I am excited to see how the weather has effected the state. I believe there will be a lot of fish caught this weekend
