| I don't believe many people are on the marine band radio on LOTW. At one time it was monitored by many, but its use has faded. |

| Lodge owners monitor the channels. There is no other way if you need help.
A good 8 ft solid glass Shakespeare will work. Longer the better. |

| Have a Shakespeare on a boat just want to see if there was something newer out there. And yes it did save my ass about 10 years ago on a cold November night about 15 miles from camp! |

| I have a five foot (I think) shakespeare. I know that from the Angle I can reach Big Narrows resort. The fiberglass ones are better than the wire ones. |
