I know many of you are not hunters, but a great deal of you are. If you have not clicked over to OFM's sister site, WhitetailFIRST, you really should check it out and see hat you're missing. Whether you've been on the WhiterailFIRST site before or not, I wanted to reach out to everyone to inform of the great prizes we have in the line-up for this year's 2014 Buck Contest. All you have to do is submit a picture or three of your buck and include a brief story behind the hunt. Voting will be done by WhitetailFIRST members, not limited to OFM staff. You don't have to knock down the biggest buck to win a great prize, sometimes the story behind the hunt is enough to capture a vote. I realize that not everyone visiting the MuskieFIRST forum is a hunter, but perhaps you are, or perhaps you know someone who is. The list of prizes we have for the 2014 Buck Contest on WhitetailFIRST is one of the best yet and by far ranks amongst one of the better web-based contests offered by any other websites this year. The format is simple, post a picture, or pictures, of a buck you tag this year by bow, gun or crossbow, and give a summary of the hunt. Voting will be up to members of the forum to keep it totally fair, and their reason for voting is completely up to them. This isn't a "Big Buck" contest, so don't be afraid to enter anything so long as it has antlers.
