I was wondering what the situation is with the Chicago show(s). I tried going to Tri-Esox Production's website, www.chicagomuskieshow.com and the domain name is expired. Does this mean there will only be the new show at the Sear's Center? If so, that will make my decision much easier as to which show to attend for the weekend. I go all 3 days and was wrestling with which to attend. Anyone know the scoop?

Tri Esox is no more.

There is so much that could have been done to make that show a winner. There's more musky guys down here in N IL than you can shake a stick at, and the show is smack dab in the wealthiest part of the state. Not sure what the promoters were thinking, but when the IL guys are going to the Milwaukee show instead of the one in their own back yard, it ought to be a clue that you need to do something.

I like beer and muskie stuff. Put em together and I definitely will buy more stuff I don't need.

I sorry about seeing it go too, really I am....look so forward to a musky fix in the snow. But the above comment about why Illonois folks would come to Wisconsin in the winter not really well thought out?? Answer: To see an NFL team!

The sears center is a great venue. Its a wrap around stadium area of food vending and a VIP bar area. Seen a few slaughter games there. Its right across the street from cabelas. And plenty of places to eat close by.

The new show is going to be AWESOME! Beautiful venue, easily accessible, tons of parking, food, & BEER! No more combat shopping. The entire Muskie Expo team has been working hard the entire year to make this a great family friendly event. Really looking forward to it. The entire Llungen Family will be in attendance and we have something very special lined up for the future generation of muskie fisherman

Cabelas doesn't carry near the stuff Thornes and Rollie & Helen's carry not even close. If it's just Cabelas the show will close before it opens

Well James says he has a booth there, so I would imagine that there will be plenty of vendors. Here's the website:
