So my question is this....

If you mark his map, But I catch the fish....

You still get his booze right???

He might abandon me in cook tho.....

With hair like this he should get along just fine... (he's going to love this is on the internet)

Kids... if your moms friends see that picture on the next people of Walmart calendar...she will kick your butt.

And no, you catch the fish, you can give them your thanks. I catch the fish and I give them the hootch. My guess is I'll have more support.

hope you can make it steve, fish are moving. a couple have been caught prefishing (not me). I had up a big one up twice, she went around on the 8 a bunch but wouldn't commit. this was in 3-4 ft waves and wind is supposed to die down so it should get easier (easier to miss fish in my case). see everyone tomorrow. Our crew is down with a nasty upper respiratory ick. That put our coverage people to one, and I am getting sick as we speak, but had to head to ND for a Masters Walleye Championship as there's no one else to get that done. Bummer, I was looking forward to some time off by the fire and a couple days on the water.

I sent Steve an email to make sure he gives away a 9' TI telescoping rod, shipped directly to the winner, for the biggest Muskie and biggest Pike. Post some pictures here...PLEASE!!

We're heading to V tomorrow for a week, not sure if I'd rather catch a 53" muskie or a pout like that.
I know which I'd rather eat...

LOL! This has to be some of the funniest bantering I have read in a long time. I burst out with laughter and the cube farm is looking into my office. What does he see on the financial reports on his computer that is so funny. tee hee hee.

Actually, my financials make me cry - but that's off topic.

LOL. LOL. Good luck Guys!

Well Steve, this group has shown that their reporting skills need work. Looks like you cannot afford to be sick or unable to attend future gatherings if we want to be able to share in hearing about them

Speaking for our boat only, the lake beat us. We had no muskies in the net but did manage the biggest pike at 37 inches. Congrats to Scott Pallan for catching that fish and winning a very nice TI rod as the prize (picture under General Discussion).

From what I heard from other anglers, more fish (if not most) were seen around rocks vs. weeds. Several nice fishing were caught on Thursday. A hefty 53.5 was caught at dark on Thursday night and a really nice 54.5 was caught early Friday I believe (perhaps those people and others can chime in with details).

This was my first trip to the Big V. Wow, was I impressed with the water and all the great folks at Spring Bay Resort! We are really looking forward to coming back next year and pounding it again. We think we learned a lot about the lake and will tweak our presentations next year and hopefully hook up. Thank you Muskie First, Spring Bay Resort, Tackle Industries and everyone who played a role in making this great outing happen. - Jim Furley (a.k.a. campfire)
