Posts: 20173 Location: oswego, il | James is as stand up as they come. I can remember one time he found out my club was doing a kids outing and without ever asking he contacted me asking to be a part. Heck just read what he posts on these forums. Just last week he offered to help fix a competitors rod! Wow! Great guy!

Posts: 470 | Why would you look anywhere else? They stand by their product, offer a great product for the $$ and give back to the community. 'nuff said. The 3 rods I bought from them at Christmas were absolutely fantastic with no problems in shipping or quality. Haven't bought any lures from them yet but you can believe my lure $$ is coming their way soon. But don't take my word for it, here's something worth a 1000 words. TI 9' Two piece on the deck behind me, handled this fiesty lass like she was a 14" sqeeker. Attachments ---------------- Resize.jpg (88KB - 180 downloads)

Posts: 98 Location: Franklin, WI | I met James for the first time at the Milwaukee Musky Expo this year. Bought a couple of his special 'camo dogs', and he gave my friend and I free TI hats because we were veterans. Outstanding guy. He offers great products, and I'll always look at TI before buying competitors' products. Thank you James for supporting the veterans! You are a true American!

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | James is a great guy. Pretty much all the rods on my deck are TI rods now (other than a St Croix LT I was given). His customer service is top notch and then some. He's gone above and beyond more than I'd ever expect!

Posts: 1220 | I'm on record for being hopelessly in love with someone else's stick....but I think it's OK to recognize another person's good idea. People use all sorts of methods and gimmicks to promote their business among target groups. Whether its Tee-shirts or TV ads, all companies do something. I think it's a novel idea and a good example to make "charity" your main activity for which people can associate your company. As others who are in business take notice of the nice things being said about this, I hope they will consider doing more of it themselves. The clear business benefit of charity is also clearly outlined in the very last book of the Old Testament.....sadly it's not too widely read!

Posts: 89 | Tackle Industries stands behind the products. Last weekend I ran into a problem with a rod. I sent an email, was responded to promptly and my problem will be resolved in less then a week. With this kind of on the spot service I have been, and will continue to be a tackle industries customer. Also on a side note, the black on black booty tail has been my go to night time bait this summer! Thanks again for the great service. Colin in Nevada

Would like to say thanks James. Hey Larry, Thanks for the nice message. We had our daughter at the same hospital. They are a really great bunch of people there and a great facility for kids and parents. Hope your child is doing well. Our daughter Julia is a little spit fire now thanks to Gillettes and the great doctors there! Thanks, James PS-Thanks to everyone with the good words. I hope TI can continue to do this until I sell the company or pass away at 90 yrs old while shipping tackle Hope to make this my full time job in the next 5 years. Got new irons in the fire to help replace the day job salary so we can continue the charity work at or above our current level but survive on TI. Got some new bass&walleye tackle coming out soon and if that takes off we should be good to go and I can finally work a 40 hour week and go fishing again! lol Thanks again and have a good weekend everyone. . Posts: 1283 | Excellent! Almost like waiting for Christmas morning at this point! BTW Had a nice muskie up in the 8 on your Dbl 8 Dominatrix in copperhead yesterday. That is until it turned so fast on it I hit the fish with my rod and scared it away. FTL! Edited by achotrod 7/26/2014 3:59 PM
