what are some other sites used besides google earth? Some lakes that I fish in Canada looks like they are still using the snow covered imagery. Just a helpful tool on the lakes that have no mapping for hazards. Thanks

If you are talking about that MODIS link that someone posted on here last spring you have to click on the date and scroll up in the drop down menu to get to the current day or anything in between.

I use bingmaps.com just as much as google. Seems 50/50 on which has better detail for an area.

http://www.flashearth.com/ has become my favorite. Great imagery, fast, and the option to view with or without data overlay.

on the center of eagle where im going, bing has no detail or google shows what looks to be ice in that section. im taking some new people up and trying to show spots for structure and hazard. thanks for input, just cant find one yet for the area
