| Been pounding the water pretty hard lately, on my water temps are up, fish should be movin but we can't get anything going. We've been throwing blades, ripping dawgs, and trying some topwaters. Most action comes from the blades but it isn't what I would expect for mid summer. What are other guys doing with 70 degree water temps that are moving fish and getting them to commit? |

Tossed one on the big V for a good while last two weeks and took some nice fish. A PB of 54" too!! Amazing strength of that fish.

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL & Phillips, WI | We've stumbled onto a pattern that is still working on the shallow flowage in Wisconsin that my family fishes. Burning double 10s in shallow areas (3 ft or less) with a lot of wood. In the past few weeks we have boated about 15 muskies between me and my 2 boys. Of the fifteen, we had a 45, 47, 48.5 and my son's new personal best, 50.5. Not sure if this will continue to hold up. Normally by now the big mamas would have vacated this area.

| trolling small long baits has been the only way to catch fish down in SE WI. Been casting my arms off trying to figure out if it was just location on the lake, but the fish seem to be deep and biting smaller baits. |

Location: Wakefield, MI | Caught a 44" last night an hour before dark on a giant killer (new PB by the way), casting to the edge of the bulrushes she hit 10 feet from the boat. Last week we were getting action right in the weeds with frogs, caught a 39", had 4 other hits. |

Location: Quebec, Canada | We have had only 1 hit and 1 follow on the #10s since the opener... switched to #8s and instant results. Multi fish day a 51 and 44 within an hour between each.
