Steve do you happen to know what the original carpet was in the S 135? Lasted 22 years so it was time... any disadvantage on dropping to 18oz?

I think it was 20, if memory serves. 18 will last a very long time, sand is your deck carpet's worst enemy.

Thanks... not big on beaching my boat so sand is kept to a minimum

Since I almost always launch off sand, would you recomend coating with some of this rubber deck coating? Maybe in a darker color so it doesnt look dirty all the time? Has anyone used this coating from Overtons?
