Hi guys,
Do you use anything on your wood baits before you paint them to fill any uneven wood grain to make for a perfect smooth finish before paint? I almost bought some sanding sealer yesterday but they told me it was only for use with stain and not to be used with paint. Also is there any decent clearcoats in a rattle can? I am making a small qty of baits and dont have a gun. Have used Devcon epoxy but that is a little pricey buying it 1 oz. at a time. I am not looking for perfection like many of you do so well but dont want crude either. Thanks
