Location: Poynette WI. | I've been making my own bucktails the last couple years and have some pretty good luck using them as well. I'm thought I would share some of them with the rest of the musky world today and leave them open for some feed back.
Nevermind all my pictures are to large to add to this site and havent been able to figure out how to make the file small enough to send.

Location: Poynette WI. | I downloaded some pictures from my phone to my computer so i could post a few pictures on here and the pictures failed to upload because it says the maximum size is 100kb, it looks like my pictures say they are 1000+kb, does anyone know how i go about attaching my photos to this forum? |

Location: Central Wisconsin | muskiefirst offers a image resizing program to download or you can open each photo in paint and then resize them until they're under the max kb

Location: Central Wisconsin | Open up Microsoft paint. Once it is open you click on the file tab and then click open. This should pop open another tab that you can then click on your photo. Where ever it is saved, (easiest if saved on desktop). Once you open it the photo will appear on paint. The next thing to do is click on the resize button. Another tab will open that says resize and skew. Next step is to click on the pixels button. I am assuming it will be a higher number for the horizontal and vertical section. Click on the horizontal section and delete the number in box.Then type in a number around 500 and hit enter. This should make the picture small enough. Next go back to the main paint page and save the image. Try uploading the picture then, if it still doesn't work just keep making the number of pixels smaller and smaller until it works. Hopefully that helps. |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Just download 'photo editor' on your smart phone, there is a re size option on that app. Mine usually have to be 0.3 Mega pixels or less to work. Images need to be 100kb or less in order to be posted. Usually I will edit the photo, save it, and email it to myself, but before actually sending the email I will check what the KB's are on the email attachment. If it is more than 100 KBs I will then go back and tweak it till it's under 100 KBs. Once you send it to yourself. Download it right from your inbox. It should then it let you post the pictures anywhere you want on this forum. |

Location: Oswego, IL | You can also take the photo and email it to yourself, normally its asks what size you want to email it as, then email your self, open your email on the computer save the file. (At least the IPhone does it that way) No sizing software needed on either device |

Location: Poynette WI. | Black Marabou, Red Hackle and I was out of red flashabou so i used fuchsia accent flashabou. Making a few more of these in different colors and thinking about adding a little trailer spinner off the back hook when finished.

Location: Poynette WI. | I used a friends inhaler on some back waters with a tail spinner last year for the first time and smashed some pike on it. the green/black/brown tail listed above has it and has been a very good bait for me. I make them so I can take them on and off the oring, that one I actually attached it to the oring and shrinked wrapped it to the treble. Loven the trailer blades lately!!!! |

Location: Northern Illinois | Nice spinner baits Fishfinder. How do those saddle hackle feathers
hold up for you after fishing a few times? I've always shied away from
the marabou baits feeling they don't hold up to long. I use to tie flies
for trout fishing so I can appreciate the work tying those up. Good job. |

Location: Poynette WI. | The hackle feathers hold up great to be honest. you may loose a feather here and there if your pulling it through a lot of weeds or brush or get hung up. It's true the marabou can get beat up fairly easy in the same situtuations. Catching fish on them is probably the roughest of all (great problem to have). I put a little extra on mine because i know that some are going to get ripped off eventually. They hold up a lot better than i thought they would of. The other nice thing is i make my own so i can always repair them if they do get worn out. I also tie them on throttle cable and if i have to i can cut the wire and through a new skirt on and it's as good as new for a fraction of the price. I repair alot of old and beat up lures for guys all the time. |
