Operation Muskie continues to meet its mission: "Putting Thanks Into Action!" Operation Muskie began in 2008 and is an extremely successful non-profit organization, providing our Veterans with an opportunity to relax after recent combat deployments. Each year this event pairs 20 Veterans with 10 world-class muskie fishing guides for an all-expenses-paid, fully-guided "welcome home" at world-famous Walsh’s Bay Store Camp on Lake of the Woods. Operation Muskie 2013 is scheduled for Jun 24-28. We are now preparing to support 20 more Veterans and bring our total number of Veterans supported to 120! These flies range from top water flies to straight streamer flies/sub surface flies. They also range from single hook to articulated double hook flies. A lot of the guys who tied these don't really sell their flies they just did it to help out the OM cause. There are some big name tiers that donated including, Pat Cohen, Matt Grajewski, Eric Grajewski, Nick Granato, Brad Bohen, Thomas Harvey, Eli Berant, Brian Wise, Steve Dally, and Chris Willen. A lot of these flies caught fish ranging from mid 30s fish up to 52". A couple of these flies were modeled after flies that caught world record fish. A lot of time and effort on the water went into the design of these flies. A special thanks to Chris Willen for coordinating this awesome package!

Lot #45: Pipestone Point Resort, LOTW, Canada: One week, American plan for 2 people.
The winner will receive a one-week stay for 2, American plan, which includes daily maid service, all meals, including everything for Canadian shore lunch if you'd like, and use of a boat if needed. The stay is good through the 2013 and 2014 seasons, with July through early September as available booking months. This is an awesome resort and great deal with the American plan… meals included!!! Mike Weidemann from God’s Country Chapter of Muskie, Inc. is a regular guest at the resort and offered to mark maps of quality muskie and walleye fishing spots, or take them out personally, if he’s there at the time of the stay.
