Or both 61's so you can compare

Location: Ontario | Hi Richard, looks like you are back at it, I hope you feel good now Yesterday when fishing I noticed that my 2 year old Lexa300 line guide started to stick in the far left, and I had to poke it with my finger to get it move in the opposite direction. Got home, took the reel a part, and looks like this one was made Friday afternoon since when I removed the drive shaftthe back bearing was not there Pretty disappointed with Daiwa manufacturing! It is $1.60 part but it will be pain to get it, would you know the size of the bearing? Part 140-1280 I'm also surprised that I didn't notice any difference from other 300 I have, and that one has the bearing installed. Also, thinking about swapping the plastic bushing in the spool tensioner for bearing, I presume the 140-1500 would fit? to my surprise its way more expensive then the drive shaft bearing $6.70. Thanks

Thanks That Bearing will keep the drive shaft from flexing on hook sets and when the spool is under load. The Lexa is a Price Point reel for Diawa so it is lacking in some area's.

Would you know the size of those bearings? 3x8x4 for the bushing in the side plate that the spool shaft fits in. The plastic bushing that supports the Pinion Gear is the one that will wear out fast !! Not sure if a bearing can be made to fit there
