$375 a person!!! You get half that back in food, baits, etc!!! For those of you that haven't gone on this outing yet, I highly recommend it. I would love to go again, but tennis practice/meets start up during that week so I'm committed to that.

The Amundson's will take care of any needs you have...very friendly, almost family-like atmosphere! Hope to be back soon!

Will the ice be off the lakes by the Aug. outing??? Still 30" of ice here in Northern Wis. Been busy making musky rods so will have a couple new ones to try out. Looking for my second 50"er as Vermilion is the place I got my first and only 50"er. Save some food and beer for Gordie and me as we may be a little late, will be at St. Croix Rod factory until noon on Sat. for Rod building seminars.

There is more than enough fish & spots on the west side so most everyone stays fishing there. Some have gone over to the east side, but unless you have some hot fish located there I don't see why you would spend the gas/time to get there.

Don, you buying Coors Lights again

Hoping to keep the hooks out of fingers this year

This is always a great trip and cannot wait to get up there again. The chance for a giant and the great hospitality is what keeps me coming back every year! Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Is there a cost for children 3 and under? If my wife and baby comes do we share rooms with people or how does that work?

Depending on how this new job prospect works out, I am definitely going to try and actually make it up there this year. The Tuffy needs a week long soak in some HOT muskie waters ......

Hey Muskyhunter 47,
every year we talk about a plan to fish the other side. Never have done it yet, regardless which side I am staying on. B rad and I talked about it all week last year, and just never pulled the trigger. I would still like to do it yet, just for a mid-week change up. I would definitely say yank it and trailer, you'll never make it over there with enough time to make it worth it, with all the milk run spots on the way ! The young guns sneak off to the middle channels most everyday, but they have a sponsor backing them !! haaa We even brought a tent to 'overnight it' on the camping islands the first year, but wouldn't have had the go-juice for the Minni K the second day without some kind of charge, so only made it to two of Mikey and Brando's secret spots ! (while they were retrieving pounders for us) ouch ! --Still floored by that ridiculousness !!
I don't know how it would be possible to effectively fish 'the whole thing', but once again, I would certainly be up for the long day trip on the other side. There are some spots that I love and done very well on over there, but Like Eric said, it's hard to leave fish to find fish ! Regardless, I think pulling it would definitely be the way to go. ... looking forward to it !

I'll be on the West end the entire time. Crappies, Bass, and Bluegills beware this year, the Worrall Cabin fish fry will be special.

If I fish the East end of the lake, I just boat over there.... It takes me about 20=25 min. to be in Big Bay with a Skeeter 210,
If you trailer over to Frazer Bay(mid lake) it will take you 30 min. to launch your boat
So if your already in the water, it seems like a no brainer to just boat over to the East Side.... Oh, The East End is more crowed than the West end,...... I know, because I've fished both sides for 17 yrs.
The key to boating over there is to blow by all the good spots, and start early at the farthest spot East and work your way West,...... It takes fishing hard from 5:30am to 10:00 pm..... It's a Looongg Day.....
Take a break about 3:00pm -5:00pm and go to the Vermilion Club for the best Pizza on the Lake and a few Beers,..... Unless the muskies are eating...
