Dates posted are Saturday Sunday dates so that eliminates Minnesota from championship consideration.

So that does not eliminate MN, cus you can have weekend events after labor day

Top H2O-
My comment was sarcastic. It is exactly the reason I have yet to fish the PMTT. Am I really going to take days off work to fish the Madison Chain? No

As usual, I am already getting excited for my April trip to Cave Run and the rest of the PMTT schedule as well. It's a great bunch of guys (and a few gals) that fish these things and totally fun way to spend the summer!

I don't like that there's no MN qualifier, I won't spend money to fish both WI and KY just for a shot at the Championship. Bummer because my buddy and I planned to try fishing this next season now I will have to make other plans.

I'd love to fish in it sometime, for the fun if nothing else since there isn't many muskie tournaments but after looking at the entry fee, heeeellllll no.

This is why no one wants to fish this trail anymore same places all the time. ...and you thought turnouts were bad last year???
The Madison Chain Sept. 7th and 8th pray for rain or the lakes will be a total zoo

So the winning boat will have at least 10 fish!

probably 20! thats going to shatter any PMTT record for total fish caught. They're going to need like 20 judge boats

Never fished Leech until this year's PMTT although I always wated to, never fished LSC either and always wanted to, so I am really glad the trail is giving me a few new lakes to try. My advice, as always, is to try one or two of these things, see for yourself if you like the crowd you are fishing with and the people who run the thing. I think it's a blast!
