The fish are snapping with this hot weather this year. Thought I would share the coolest 10 minutes I have ever had in my boat! Got a 54.5 and a 55 on back to back casts! Lots of fifetys hitting the net this year.

That's freakin' ridiculous.
Back to back casts ? I guess that would be the spot on the spot 'eh?
Minnesota muskies are really healthy and in great shape right now.
Those fish could easily pass for fall fatties and it's mid-july!
Fins are perfect- no splits and no marks 'cept 1 minor scuff on the side on the first one.
I Love Minnesota Muskies!

This is the biggest from the day before these 2 fish. My client could not get the fish away from his body. This fish is way heavier than the 2 that I got. This fish was an absolute pig!! 54 x fatty!!

OMG! Back to back casts...? Once in a lifetime... even on the best lake under the best conditions, I would think that's a fairly rare evening...?

I seen him on Keyes outdoors sticka 50 and 53 in pretty short order one summer nite, pretty common occurance for the Hamer. I'd say he's dialed in to say the least!!!

This is one of those situations where you stutter before you can think of something to respond with... At least that's what happened to me. Think I'll move to MN - just saying.

Ok, I'll ask. It seems obvious Hammernick is the man and on fire right now no matter where he's fishing, Vermilion, Mille Lacs, where ever. Has there been a hot bait? Not looking to give up locations or spots, just wondering if one bait in particular has stood out. I know in years past if there's a bait that's hot in one area, it's usually hot everywhere.
